Voice of Adoptees (VOA): the Newsletter that Gives Adoptees a Voice!

VOA is a monthly newsletter that will appear in Inboxes on the third Tuesday of each month. Submit articles on topics relating to adoption for consideration of publication in the guest article section.

VOA is seeking guest articles (1500 WC max.). Some topics to consider would be:

* Should sealed adoption records be opened up and made available to adoptees?
* How should teachers treat adoptees in the classroom? (Remember the family tree assignments)
* Is there a place for secrecy in adoption?
* If you had an adopted child would you leave the child out of your will?
* Should the adoptive family be able to some day decide to return the adoptee? (See the latest news story circulating on the Dutch diplomat regarding his adopted Korean child)
* Should the weight of a person seeking to adopt be a valid reason for denial? (It is a true case)

There is so much more, so put on your thinking caps and send me some articles.

1. Send the article in the body of your email message or as a Word 2007 attachment to submissions@voiceofadoptees.com 2. In the subject line put Submissions - [title WC:]
3. You will get a byline automatically. For a five-line bio, include one at the end of your article to save time.
